Visitors often have questions before they visit.  Hopefully, we can answer a few of them here, but if you don’t see what information you need, please don’t hesitate to call the church office at 864 585 4801.

What times are the services?

Our contemporary service, Spirit Song, meets in the gym at 8:45.  Our traditional service meets at 8:45 and 10:55 in the sanctuary.  Sunday School meets at 9:45.

Where do I park?

Parking is available on both the Henry Street and E. Lee Street sides of the church.  Handicapped parking is available on both sides, but there are more handicapped spaces on the Henry Street side.

Is there a nursery?

A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers during Sunday School and Worship services (8:45 am – 12:30 am). It is located on the first floor through the center doors. Your precious child will be cared for by our loving and nurturing staff of nursery workers.

What about older children?

During the 10:55 Worship service, children may stay with their parents, or participate in a special Children’s Sermon with “Miss” Jana or “Miss” Jennifer and then leave the sanctuary for Wee Church (3-5 year olds) and Children’s Church (K-5 through 6th Grade).

What do I wear?

Come as you are whether you wear a suit, dress, jeans, or shorts; you are always welcome.  Typically, members at the traditional services are more formally dressed, but feel free to wear what you’re most comfortable wearing.  The important thing is that we’d love to see you!

If the church is having Communion, may I participate?

Yes!  The Communion table is Christ’s table; it does not belong to the United Methodist Church or to the local congregation. It is a table open to all who seek to respond to Christ’s love.
