“Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me.” — Mark 9:37a

At Bethel United Methodist Church, we believe that children are a precious gift from God. Our goal is to help them grow in faith, experience God’s love, and discover the joy of being part of God’s family — all in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.

Sunday Mornings

  • Nursery (Infants & Toddlers)
Our nursery is open every Sunday from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. during Sunday School and Worship. Caring, experienced staff provide a safe and loving space for your little ones.
*The nursery is located on the first floor. Enter through the main door by the entrance at the fountain and take a left.
  • Elementary Sunday School (Grades K–5)
Elementary children meet in *Africa – a colorful, adventure-themed space where they explore the Bible through stories, games, and hands-on learning.
*The Children’s area is located on the second floor. Take the stairs in front of the main door by the entrance at the fountain. Take a right at the top of the stairs.

Worship for Children

  • During Contemporary Worship (9 a.m.), preschoolers – 6th graders are invited to Children’s Church right before the sermon for an engaging Bible lesson and fun activities.
Pick up preschoolers – K5 in the *Under the Sea classroom following the service, 1st – 6th graders from *Africa.
  • During Traditional Worship (11 a.m.), children enjoy a special Children’s Sermon in the Sanctuary before heading to Wee Church (ages 3–5) and Children’s Church (K–5th grade).
